Acquisition of Plant Solutions PTY LTD Australian Channel Partner Strengthens Presence in Asia Pacific Region
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - June 7, 2007 - Aspen Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: AZPN), a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, today announced its acquisition of Plant Solutions Pty, Ltd., AspenTech's alliance partner in Australasia (Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea).

Plant Solutions has been providing a wide range of software and professional services on behalf of AspenTech since its inception in April 2000. Services provided to AspenTech customers in the region include: process simulation and modeling, dynamic simulation, model deployment, performance management, heat exchanger network pinch analysis, distillation column targeting and consulting and implementation services.
