"Connie will hold the first technical services position at ASC as the Council responds to the increasing need for technical data, science oriented programming and dynamic collaborations to move the industry forward," notes Matthew E. "I am very excited to transitioning from industry and as an ASC member participant, to staff, and look forward to working with members to bring a stronger technical focus to all of ASC's programs," said Connie Howe, Senior Manager, Technical Services at ASC. "My goal is to work collaboratively with our technical community and incorporate new ideas and new thinking to current programs, and assess the market in order to determine what new programming can be developed to add value to our industry."
Howe holds a Bachelor's of Science in Polymer Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Master's of Science in Textile Chemistry with an emphasis in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University.
"ASC currently produces 5 short courses, 8-session advanced technology link tracks at each Convention, 8+ Academy webinars annually, and has more than 130+ adhesive and sealant test methods developed via ASTM D14 and C24, and Connie will work to build off of this strong technical base and develop new programming centered on trends and challenges facing the industry such as sustainability and EPDs," notes Croson.
