ASABE Revised Standard for Peanut Drying Systems



ST JOSEPH, MICHIGAN – The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) has revised its standard on the energy efficiency of systems for peanut drying systems.



The new document ASAE S488.1, Energy Efficiency of Peanut Drying Systems, includes updated reference information as noted in the most recent periodic review of the document.  This is the first revision of the standard since its initial publication, in 1990.



ASABE members with standards access and those with site-license privileges can access the full-text via electronic download on the ASABE online Technical Library at elibrary.asabe.org/. Others can obtain a copy for a fee directly from the library or by contacting ASABE headquarters at martin@asabe.org.
