ASA Hires Industry Veteran Mike Miazga to Lead Association’s Sales and Membership Efforts

Itasca, IL – February 12 , 2020 The American Supply Association today announced the hiring of PHCP-PVF industry veteran Mike Miazga as its new vice president of sales and membership. Miazga will lead the association’s membership, marketing and business intelligence efforts.

“Over the past decade Mike has established a vast network of contacts and strong relationships throughout all facets of our industry’s supply chain,” ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi noted. “Those relationships coupled with his unique communications skill set, a constant desire to learn and innovate, and a tireless work ethic make him a perfect addition to our team.”

For the past decade Miazga held a variety roles at Troy, Michigan-based BNP (Business News Publishing) Media, the nation’s largest privately held business-to-business publishing company. As Group Editorial Director for BNP Media’s Plumbing Group, Miazga led the daily editorial direction and managed the editorial staff of industry trade publications Supply House Times, Plumbing & Mechanical and PM Engineer, while providing support to and working closely on the business side with the group’s publisher and salesforce.

In its sixth decade of publication, Supply House Times is the official publication of ASA — a relationship that dates back more than 10 years.

Prior to joining BNP Media, Miazga spent eight years as an executive in the volleyball industry, and before that started his journalism career at two Chicago-area newspapers. He also previously worked in secondary education.
