Aruba Networks and Psion Teklogix Partner to Tackle Industrial Applications with Ruggedized Product Solution

Industrial Access Points and Hardened Portable Computing Devices Provide Secure Mobility in Harsh Environments

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (April 22, 2008) - Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), a global leader in wireless LANs and secure unified mobility solutions, and Psion Teklogix (LONDON: PON), a leading provider of rugged mobile computing solutions to a range of industries around the world, today announced a distribution agreement under which Psion Teklogix will resell Aruba secure mobility solutions as part of its industrial solution suite. Additionally, Aruba has issued Compatible Partner interoperability ratings to Psion Teklogix Wi-Fi enabled products, an assurance to integrators and end users that the products have been tested to work well together.

"Psion Teklogix manufactures a wide range of wireless and mobile computing solutions for the enterprise, including handheld and vehicle mounted devices, and we wanted to offer our customers another reliable, secure wireless infrastructure option that would make the most of our products," said Ron Caines, Psion Teklogix' President of the Americas. "Aruba's AP-85 industrial access point family allows our products to operate at exceptional range, in the harshest environments. Running Psion Teklogix devices on an Aruba wireless LAN is an excellent way to highlight the many advanced features we build into our products."

Aruba's new AP-85 Dual-Radio Outdoor Access Point family incorporates unique radio, packaging, and operational capabilities optimized for industrial environments. Featuring dual, high-power radios, a robust weather- and airborne contaminate-proof enclosure, explosive environment ATEX Zone 2 safety rated design, and a mesh mode for wire-free operation, the AP-85 is ideal for addressing difficult installation scenarios in both indoor and outdoor locations. These features facilitate fast deployment without the services of highly skilled technicians.

Aruba launched its interoperability testing program in mid-2007 to enhance the out-of-box deployment experience of integrators and end users. Pre-testing helps avoid situations in which incompatibilities, bugs, or software instability results in erratic device or network behavior. Aruba completed interoperability testing of Psion Teklogix's mobile devices with its wireless LANs and has issued the devices a Compatible Partner rating.

"Psion Teklogix' devices are known for their outstanding performance and reliability, and it is our mission to ensure that these devices stay connected at all times," said Peter Cellarius, Aruba's head of business development. "To accomplish this, our networks automatically and continuously optimize themselves for the environment in which they're operating, taking the guesswork out of network set-up and operation. The result is a secure and dependable conduit for information on which Psion Teklogix and its resellers can depend day in and day out."
