Arthur Machinery-Florida Attends Training at New Hyundai-Wia Facility
Tampa, Florida – Arthur Machinery-Florida recently attended the first dealer training session held in Hyundai-Wia’s new facility in Itasca, Illinois. The three day event consisted of the dealer council meeting, dealer principles meeting and sales training. Representatives from Fanuc U.S.A., Renishaw and Seimens participated in the dealer training.
Hyundai-Wia America moved their corporate facility to 265 Spring Lake Rd, Itasca Illinois to be more centrally located in the U.S. The building is ideal with offices, training rooms, showroom, parts storage and warehouse space. There were 20 CNC machines in the new showroom.
Dealers from the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America were able to meet the Hyundai-Kia staff as well as network with other dealers. Hyundai-Wia is a major builder in South Korea and has a long history of building machine tools. Their products consists of Vertical Machining Centers, Horizontal Machining Centers, Horizontal Vertical CNC Lathes, Hi-Speed Drill/Tap Centers, and multi-tasking machine tools.
Arthur was able to see the sales, marketing and service support systems that Hyundai-Wia has implemented to support their North and South American customers. Product features and benefits were discussed as well as plans for making the products competitive and reliable.
