Arrow Electronics Recognizes Bourns with 2007 PEMCO Supplier Excellence Award
Arrow Also Names Bourns' Manager as Supplier Champion for PEMCO Products
RIVERSIDE, Calif., June 3, 2008 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced electronic components, has received recognition from its business partner, Arrow Electronics, Inc., a world leader in electronics distribution. Arrow recognized Bourns with the Arrow PEMCO 2007 Supplier Excellence Award. At the same time, Bourns' corporate distribution manager, Meara Hamlin, was recognized as an Arrow Electronics PEMCO Supplier Champion. These awards distinguish Bourns as the Arrow PEMCO component supplier that exhibited the best performance last year and Hamlin as an exceptional account manager.

Arrow's Supplier Excellence Award recognizes best-in-class performance for Arrow PEMCO suppliers in North America and is based on several performance and service criteria.

Hamlin was selected by Arrow for its Supplier Champion Award, which recognizes the individual who best champions Arrow causes. An Arrow Supplier Champion is singled out as a key partner in driving growth, achieving goals and breaking down barriers to sales.

Both awards were formally presented at the 2008 Electronics Distribution Show and Conference (EDS) in Las Vegas, Nevada. EDS is the annual meeting place and marketplace for the worldwide community of manufacturers of electronic components, instruments and accessories and the electronic distributors through whom these products are brought to market.
