Arrow Electronics Forms Custom Logic Solutions Group
MELVILLE, N.Y., Oct. 16 -- The North American Components (NAC) business of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) today announced the expansion of its custom logic supplier linecard, which will enable Arrow to provide customers with a wider range of design engineering, technical sales and fulfillment logistics for a broad portfolio of structured and standard cell Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs).
Through its newly-formed Custom Logic Solutions (CLS) Group, Arrow will offer a full spectrum of design services for HardCopy Structured ASICs from Altera Corporation, SiliconCity® ASICs from Atmel, and high-volume SoC (System on a Chip) ASIC solutions from Faraday Technology. In addition, Arrow will continue to provide standard cell ASIC products through its longstanding partnership with LSI Logic.
