Arcwave Expands Sales Team and Opens New Offices to Accommodate 60% Growth Rate for Wireless Last Mile Product for MSOS

Provider of Wireless Plant Extension Solutions Continues Strong Momentum with More than 400 Businesses Served

Campbell, CA - November 28, 2005 - Arcwave, Inc., a provider of wireless solutions for the cable industry, today announced a significant expansion initiative to accommodate the company's 60% quarterly growth in providing wireless plant extension (WPE) solutions enabling cable operators to reach the lucrative commercial services market. The expansion includes the hiring of three new members of the sales management and technical support teams, the move to a new larger corporate headquarters in the Silicon Valley, and the opening of new sales offices in Atlanta and Detroit.

The new personnel additions add more than 70 years of combined senior level networking sales, support and technical expertise to the Arcwave team. They include Steve Davidson, who joins Arcwave as senior applications engineer, Cliff Simpson, who will serve as senior director of sales, and Kevin Orzatti, who joins Arcwave as senior sales engineer.

Davidson has more than 30 years of senior level sales management and technical applications experience at leading cable industry suppliers, including GI/ Motorola, ADC Telecom, C-Cor, Pacific Broadband Communications and Juniper Networks. He brings a strong background in network technology for cable operators, having most recently served in senior sales positions at Xtend Networks and Optinel Systems.

Simpson has more than 20 years of cable industry sales management experience with leading infrastructure companies, including Harmonic, Xtend Networks and dB Communications. He currently serves on several Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) regional boards and industry organizations. In his new position, he will be responsible for Arcwave's relationship with cable operators throughout the Midwest and Northeast.

Orzatti also has more than 20 years experience in the cable industry, most recently serving in the network design and field support group at ADC Telecom where he was responsible for supporting large fiber transport, and RF and wireless implementations. He has also served at Entratra, an integration systems company, and Cablevision / TCI. As senior sales engineer, he will be responsible for sales support throughout the Northeast and Midwest regions.

In addition to opening new sales offices in Atlanta and Detroit, Arcwave has also moved the company's corporate headquarters in California's Silicon Valley from Campbell to Los Gatos. The move allows Arcwave to double the size of the company's headquarters to more than 10,000 square feet.

"Arcwave has developed a competitive advantage by understanding the unique needs of cable operators, and I am pleased to announce that we have increased our capabilities with the addition of these three cable industry veterans," said Bill Sickler, CEO of Arcwave. "These individuals will compliment our existing team and allow us to meet the growing cable operator demand for our high-performance wireless plant extension services as we approach 400 installations."

Arcwave is currently growing at a rate of 60% per quarter, having added more than 200 new business installations in the second and third quarters of 2005 alone. The company now has products installed by 12 of the top 14 cable system operators serving more than 400 businesses.

"Cable operators are increasingly examining ways to reach commercial customers, ideally leveraging existing HFC networks to tap significant new revenue streams," said Ian Olgeirson, a senior analyst with Kagan Research. "Wireless extension technologies such as the approach from Arcwave promise to help cable operators expand footprints and sign up more business customers."

Arcwave's ARCXtend product provides the "last mile" connectivity that enables cable operators to offer high-speed Internet and data services to business customers that have been out of the reach of existing cable plant operations. It enables cable operators to deliver DOCSIS-based services to customers without the delay, expense and restrictions involved with laying new cable. Cable operators are now beginning to rapidly deploy these solutions to address the lucrative small and medium-sized enterprise market that is within the immediate vicinity of cable plant operations, but out of reach due to cost, zoning, regulatory and other issues associated with digging up streets and deploying wiring.
