ArchonCAD Releases VectorWorks Landscape Tutorial 12 Training Manual
Columbia, MD (June 20, 2006) - Nemetschek North America announced today that a new training manual for VectorWorks Landmark 12 is available: VectorWorks Landscape Tutorial 12. New Zealand architect Jonathan Pickup, one of the most experienced third-party VectorWorks authors, has designed this manual for version 12 to facilitate a smoother introduction to VectorWorks Landmark.
"I've been teaching VectorWorks Landmark to landscape architects and landscape designers for several years, and I've felt I could offer them a much better introduction to the program," says manual author Jonathan Pickup. "I created a manual to help get them started quickly, so they can use the plants and Hardscape tool right away to seed up their drawings. VectorWorks Landscape Tutorial 12 is designed to build upon beginner's knowledge of VectorWorks. The exercise-based manual instructs learners how to import a site plan, add plants, schedule plants, calculate hardscape areas, create 3D site models and 3D buildings, and create 3D designs for presentation purposes. Other topics include setting up layer and class standards, drawing complex site plans, dealing with walls and roofs, creating an office library, annotation, and customizing VectorWorks.
