Appointment in Vaisala's Management Group
Kai Konola, M.Sc. (El. Eng.), has been appointed Executive Vice President of the Weather Critical Operations Business Area and a member of Vaisala's Management Group starting July 1, 2010.
Kai Konola joins Vaisala from Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). He has worked in Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks for fifteen years in various leadership positions, most recently as Head of System Sales for networks in NSN's Customer Operations. Prior to that position, Kai Konola was leading Network Solutions unit as well as Strategy in NSN and Nokia Networks.
Antti Ritvos, currently heading the Weather Critical Operations business in Vaisala will take on new challenges outside Vaisala. He will continue in his current role until the end of June.
