Robot Industry Veteran Tim Noppe to Head Engineering Department Dedicated to General Industry & Robot Systems Integrators

Orion, Michigan - November 15, 2007, - Applied Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. (AMT), a leading supplier of factory automation design, engineering and process consulting services today announced that it has reorganized its engineering groups and established a practice area dedicated to general industry and systems integrator accounts. The new General Industry Group will include cross disciplined automation engineers from AMT's Core Technologies, including programming, software, vision, mechanical design, controls, simulation and training. Tim Noppe, a robot industry veteran, has joined AMT to head up the new business. The company expects the group to grow quickly to meet broad U.S. and international demand for automation engineering and consulting services.

Tim Noppe joins AMT after successful technical, business development and executive roles with systems integrators and robot manufacturers. His background includes ABB and Fanuc robotics, as well as systems integrator Encore Automation.
