Aphena Announces Two Leadership Changes

Chaudhury Named CFO, Hambleton VP of Quality and Regulatory Affairs

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Aphena Pharma Solutions recently announced two exciting changes to its leadership lineup. Sitakant Chaudhury has been named the company’s chief financial officer (CFO), and Patti Hambleton has been promoted to VP of quality and regulatory affairs.

Chaudhury is a native of India, where he attained an undergraduate finance accounting degree and an MBA. He is a certified management accountant (CMA) in both India and the U.S. Chaudhury began his professional financial career in 1995, and in 2008 was hand selected to relocate to the U.S. to run a finance organization.

Since his relocation to the U.S., Chaudhury has held a position as CFO for a large pharmaceutical contract manufacturing organization (CMO), where he handled all business in North America until 2013. He then became CFO of a large chemical manufacturer in Georgia. Chaudhury currently resides in Peachtree City, Ga., with his wife and son. As CFO for Aphena, he will oversee operations and personnel in finance, procurement and IT.

Hambleton joined Aphena in July 2012 as quality systems manager and was promoted to director of quality and regulatory affairs for the company’s Maryland site in March 2013. Hamblen brings 40 years of quality experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.

“We heartily congratulate Sitakant on his addition to the Aphena leadership team and Patti on this well-deserved promotion,” said Aphena CEO Shawn Reilley. “They both bring a great deal to the table in terms of skills and experience, and we look forward to working with each of them in their new capacity.”
