Anvil International Acquires Basic-PSA, Inc.

Acquisition Strengthens Anvil EPS Products and Services in the Power Industry

Exeter, N.H., (Jan 3, 2019) – Anvil International, a leading North American manufacturer and supplier of products that connect, hang and support piping systems, has announced it has acquired Basic-PSA, Inc., of Johnstown, PA. Basic-PSA, Inc. manufactures and services snubbers for the power industry domestically and abroad. The service group is well known in the industry for their on-site inspections and service at nuclear facilities throughout the country.

“Basic’s product lines are highly complementary to Anvil’s Engineered Pipe Supports (EPS) business in North Kingstown, RI,” said Tom Fish, CEO of Anvil International. “Basic’s service business brings a new offering to our portfolio of customer solutions in the power industry.”

Rick Laviolette, VP & General Manager of Anvil EPS, will assume overall responsibilities for the Basic-PSA business and will partner with their management team to expand Anvil International’s presence and offerings in the power industry. Basic-PSA will continue to operate out of their Johnstown, PA manufacturing facility.
