ANSI Issues Reminder to ASDs for compliance form submissions.

ANSI-Accredited Standard Developers (ASDs) are reminded that 2011 ASD procedural compliance form must be completed and submitted to ANSI by March 31, 2011. After reviewing 2010 edition of ANSI Essential Requirements: Due process requirements for American National Standards, ASDs should complete ANSI Procedural Compliance Form, which was recently forwarded via email to primary contact for each ANSI ASD. ASDs may submit revised procedures for re-accreditation to ANSI PSA department.

Attention ANSI-Accredited Standards Developers: 2011 Procedural Compliance Form Must Be Submitted by March 31



The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) wishes to remind all ANSI-Accredited Standard Developers (ASDs) that the recently distributed 2011 ASD procedural compliance form must be completed by each ASD and submitted to ANSI by March 31, 2011.

"By seeking and maintaining ANSI-accredited status, an organization chooses to publicly commit to an open, equitable, and accessible consensus process that ensures due process and benefits the public interest," explained Lane Hallenbeck, ANSI vice president of accreditation services. "The compliance form is designed to facilitate the annual compliance notification process."

ASDs are asked to review the 2010 edition of the ANSI Essential Requirements:Due process requirements for American National Standards and complete the ANSI Procedural Compliance Form, recently forwarded via email to the primary contact for each ANSI ASD. Note: there are no revisions to the 2010 edition of the ANSI Essential Requirements.

ASDs may submit revised procedures for re-accreditation to the ANSI PSA department (psa@ansi.org). Revised procedures are to be submitted in strike-through and underline format with an explanation of all changes.
