ANSI Board Names Volunteer Leaders for new term.

ANSI Board of Directors announced new members and officers for term beginning January 1, 2016. Kevan Lawlor will serve second term as chair of the board, and Arthur Cote will continue as immediate past chairman. Vice chairs will include GP Russ Chaney, Mary McKiel, Mary Saunders, and Paris Stavrianidis. There were 11 individuals elected to Board as directors-at-large, 4 director-at-large vacancies were filled, and 4 board members who will serve as ANSI Member Forum chairs were named.

ANSI Board Names Volunteer Leaders for 2016



The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Board of Directors has announced its new members and officers for the term beginning January 1, 2016.



Kevan Lawlor, president and CEO of NSF International, was appointed for a second one-year term as ANSI’s chair of the board.



Arthur Cote, P.E., supported by NFPA, will continue in the role of immediate past chairman.



Supporting the chairman will be four vice chairs: GP Russ Chaney, CEO of IAPMO; Mary McKiel, president and CEO of The McKiel Group; Mary Saunders, associate director for management resources (ADMR) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); and Paris Stavrianidis, general manager of FM Approvals.



The following individuals have been elected to the Board as directors-at-large for terms beginning January 1, 2016:

In addition, the Board of Directors Nominating Committee has filled four director-at-large vacancies for terms beginning January 1, 2016:

The following Board members will serve as ANSI Member Forum chairs: Kathleen Thuner, National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators (Consumer Interest Forum); Richard Forselius, Sikorsky Aircraft Company/Lockheed Martin (Company Member Forum); Scott Colburn, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (Government Member Forum); and Mary Logan, Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (Organizational Member Forum).



Individuals retiring from the Board at the end of 2015 include:
