ANSI Accredited Committee stabilizes lamp cap temp rise standard.

ANSI Accredited Standards Committee C78 Stabilizes ANSI C78.60360 American National Standard for Electric Lamps-Standard Method of Measurement of Lamp Cap Temperature Rise

ROSSLYN, Va.—The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) announced that ANSI Accredited Standards Committee C78 stabilized ANSI C78.60360 American National Standard for Electric Lamps—Standard Method of Measurement of Lamp Cap Temperature Rise. This standard describes the standard method of measurement of lamp cap temperature rise which is used when testing incandescent or discharge lamps for compliance with the limits.

NEMA’s Lighting Systems Division, as secretariat of ANSI’s ASC C78 for Electric Lamps, is looking for industry experts in the User and General Interest categories to participate in standards development activities.
