Anite Completes Acquisition of Trade and Assets of Setcom Wireless Products

FLEET, England – Mobile operators and device manufacturers to benefit from a wide range of device test case packages for Wi-Fi offload, VoLTE and other application and IMS based services.

Anite, a global leader in wireless equipment testing technology, today announced the completion of its acquisition of the trade and assets of Setcom Wireless Products GmbH, providing Anite's customer base with a more enhanced device application test offering for Wi-Fi offload, VoLTE, RCS and other application and IMS based services.

The addition of Setcom's solutions to Anite's portfolio enables users to access an extensive range of test cases for a variety of requirements from a single test vendor, including interoperability, conformance, performance and application testing. Recognised for its ease of use, Setcom's market-leading application test solution, S-CORE [http://anite.com/businesses/handset-testing/our-products/s-core-application-testing , includes an application test suite, a rich and fully-featured user interface and a multi-RAT test platform. Similar to Anite's test solutions, S-CORE is designed to improve performance and interoperability of wireless devices, whilst reducing time-to-market and development costs.

The extended portfolio enhances Anite's existing leadership in supporting major mobile operators' device acceptance programmes by allowing customers to access a comprehensive range of test packages for device application testing.

Mike Bonin, Managing Director at Anite's Device Infrastructure Testing business comments: "The acquisition produces a dedicated supplier with a more complete product offering for protocol signalling, performance and application testing. Existing S-CORE users will also benefit from Anite's substantial global sales and support footprint."
