Andes Coil Processors Adds Slitting Line in Dallas Facility

Dallas, Texas (April 6, 2021) – Andes Coil Processors LLC announced additional toll processing capacity has been added to its Dallas, Texas, facility. A new 72-inch Braner custom slitting line has been installed, in addition to the current 60-inch slitting line, and is now operational. The Dallas facility, located at 1401 W. Commerce St., previously had just one 60-inch Pro-Eco custom slitting line with shape-correction capabilities.

The new slitting line will process materials between .015" - .250" gauge and master coils measuring up to 78 inches (outside diameter, or O.D.) with a 60,000-pound-maximum coil weight. Braner Slitting Line

  • .015” - .250” x 72” wide
  • 60,000-pound-maximum coil weight
  • 72” maximum O.D.
  • Turret slitter head for quick setup change
  • 20”/24” I.D. on uncoil and recoil

“Increased market demand for 72-inch wide processing led us to make this move,” said Angie Connolly, General Manager of Andes’ Texas facilities. “With the addition of this line, we will be able to maintain reasonable lead times for our loyal customer base in the Texas region, and provide expanded processing capabilities.”
