November 15, 2006

American Bright seeks to leverage comprehensive optoelectronics assembly services to bring maximum value and flexibility to Electronics Industry.

Chino, Ca. November 14, 2006 - American Bright Optoelectronics announced today the formation of a new business unit designed to leverage a wide range of existing assembly services and core competencies to provide a "best value" assembly option to the global electronics industry. With the complementary addition of this new business unit to one of the industry's widest available selections of high-power discrete LEDs American Bright has established a literal one-stop-shop for all optoelectronics needs for the display, indication and general illumination market places.

Successful projects already completed include the new BriTube® line of high-power LED lamps that include complete driver assemblies, thermal management and housing designs. This product was completed entirely in-house utilizing American Bright's advanced engineering, design and manufacturing capabilities and featuring American Bright's high-power NoveLED(TM) line of 100 lumen LEDs.

Additional successful projects include AC line voltage light engines and incandescent replacement lamps, custom IR photo interrupters, decorative LED light strips and a wide range Ultra-Flux powered of channel letter illuminators. In each of these custom assembled product case histories, American Bright coordinated the design and manufacturing with their customer base to meet the exacting needs of established customer requirements resulting in a "right the first time" product development process that reduced lead-times and costs. In most cases the customer relied upon American Bright to provide machined parts, metal core printed circuit boards (MCPCB), injection molded lenses and housings and all the discrete components needed for completion. American Bright also performed all quality control checks, final inspection and packaging to end user specifications.

"Designers are more frequently being asked to accelerate product development and market launch at a pace unheard of just a few short years ago," commented George Lee, American Bright Optoelectronics Corporation President and CEO. "After careful consideration and consultation with our key customers, we decided that the services we have been successfully offering to a select few customer's should be bundled together and offered to the industry at large." Mr. Lee added.

American Bright maintains a talented staff of industry veterans in their Chino, California headquarters to help designers define their project scope and secure a competitive quotation.
