Ameren to Host Analyst Day in New York City; Half-Day Conference to be Webcast on www.ameren.com


ST. LOUIS, Jan. 8 / -- Ameren Corporation (NYSE:AEE) will host a half-day meeting with financial analysts and institutional investors in New York City on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008. A live Webcast of the event will be available on Ameren's Web site beginning at 12:45 p.m. Eastern Time (11:45 a.m. Central). Ameren Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Rainwater will open the conference with a strategic overview, outlining company achievements and future goals. Members of Ameren's senior management team will then provide overviews of environmental, regulatory, operating and financial strategies. Scheduled speakers include:
