Amcor Pet Packaging Adds Two Vice Presidents to North American Business Unit


Manchester, MI-(November 30, 2006)--Amcor PET Packaging adds two new business leaders to its North American management team.

William Featherstone joins Amcor's Beverage Division as vice president, sales, and Kim Houchens is named vice president, product development for North America. Both will be reporting to Frank Pellicori, vice president and general manager, Beverage Division. Houchens also will support the technology needs of the Diversified Products business unit headed by Kirby Losch.

Featherstone brings more than 22 years of experience in sales, new business development, product management, customer service and logistics. He has significant experience in professional sales management and global accounts. At Amcor, he will be overseeing sales and new business development for beverage applications.Most recently, Featherstone served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for United Plastics Group, a privately-held injection molder for the industrial, automotive, electronic and medical markets. Previous sales experience also includes 11 years with General Electric.

Houchens, a product development specialist, brings with her significant experience in leading organizations to new levels of innovation. Her scientific background in material science, product design and performance testing makes her uniquely positioned to help Amcor push bottle-making boundaries to new levels. She brings with her a history of cutting-edge development capability.

Prior to joining Amcor, she was the chief technology officer for Nano-Tex, Inc., an advanced materials company that applied nano-material technology for textile applications. Houchens holds a Ph.D. in the material sciences North Carolina State University.
