AMCA International Appoints C.K. So to Board of Directors
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., - Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International Inc. AMCA International is proud to announce that C.K. So, Head of Department, GTG Industries Sdn. Bhd., Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has accepted his appointment to the Board of Directors of AMCA International. Mr. So had previously served AMCA as a member and then chair of the Asia AMCA Board of Directors and as a member and then chair of the Asia AMCA Marketing Committee.
Mr. So began his career in the air movement and control industry in 2000 as a sales executive for IAS Engineering Sdn. Bhd. and later moved to Ziehl-EBM (M) Sdn. Bhd. He joined a distributer firm, GTG Industries, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2004 and was promoted to Head of Department of the Air Moving Equipment (AME) Department. In 2008, GTG established its own brand of fans under the leadership of Mr. So and his team, and together, they grew the company to what it is today.

Mr. So earned a dual degree in Corporate Administration and Management from the Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia, and earned a Masters of Business Administration at Royal Roads University, British Columbia, Canada.
Mr. So said that he believes in social responsibility; "I always feel obliged to follow this principle. This is because I believe that whatever our actions are, we will always influence others." Mr. So enjoys running, swimming and cycling, and participates in marathons.
