PTI have pioneered a brand new technique to perform non-destructive seal integrity inspection on both food and medical device pouches made from any material such as foil, film, paper, TYVEKTM, printed, colour or transparent. SealScan(TM) identifies the presence, type and location of seal defects, verifying the package integrity and analyzing the overall seal quality.

For the first time, Opto-Acoustic imaging can be applied to in-line analysis of seals on flexible packaging. As an offline tool, SealScan(TM) is unmatched within the industry as the Opto-Acoustic images can be used to reliably calibrate and optimise seal inspection machines.
