Allied Electronics Recognized as Top Distributor by Manufacturers


Fort Worth, Texas - Allied Electronics, a subsidiary of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), was recognized as a top distributor by several manufacturers at the Electronic Distribution Show (EDS) held in Las Vegas this month.

Cherry Electrical named Allied as its Distributor of the Year for 2005. Schurter named Allied as its Catalog Distributor of the Year. In addition, Dialight recognized Allied as a Top Performing Distributor and product manager Bert Johnston for contributing to 69% sales growth in 2005.
