Alemite Programs Aimed at Saving Time and Energy for Customers


FORT MILL, S.C. - In an effort to give its customers greater control of account and ordering processes, Alemite recently made significant upgrades to its B2B website. It also introduced a Same Day Shipping (SDS) program, which facilitates shipping products on the same day the customer places an order.

Alemite's new B2B site features enhanced automation, functionality and architecture, and it is available to any distributor. The site improves transaction efficiency and accuracy by providing real-time access to ordering, product tracking, product availability, pricing, lead times and reports.

"Customers will find the new B2B site to be a quick and user-friendly method of placing orders, tracking shipments and viewing order history reports," said Piccolo.

Other customer service enhancements include the Same Day Shipping program. U.S.-based manufacturing allows Alemite to respond to ship customer orders quickly. Same Day Shipping is available for some of Alemite's most popular items, including certain model grease guns, meters and reels. To qualify, customers must place their order by noon Eastern time. Orders received after noon will ship the following day. The maximum order level for each part number is five pieces, and the limit is one SDS order per customer per day. Orders can be submitted by fax, e-mail or phone, but customers must indicate SDS at the time of placing the order.
