Boca Raton, Florida - October 25, 2007 - Airspan Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: AIRN), a leading worldwide provider of WiMAX and Wi-Fi based broadband wireless access networks, today announced its participation in the WiMAX Forum® fourth public Mobile WiMAX(TM) PlugFest that took place in Taipei, Taiwan. We have a comprehensive range of Mobile WiMAX solutions which are fully compatible with products from other vendors. As a WiMAX industry leader, Airspan has been an active proponent of the WiMAX forum from its inception and we are pleased with the high level of interoperability between vendors. We believe the industry is at a turning point and vendors are positioning themselves for certification and availability of products for the coming year. Airspan is positioned to benefit from this momentum," commented Paul Senior, Airspan's CTO and a Charter Board member of the WiMAX Forum.

Airspan has attended all of the WiMAX Forum public fixed and mobile PlugFests to date and has previously announced its intention to seek certification for its Mobile WiMAX versions of HiperMAX, MicroMAX and unique Quad-Band MiMAX Mobile Station.
