Airgas' Advanced Fabrication Technologies Group to Exhibit at FABTECH
Company to Provide Welding and Cutting Expertise and Analysis to Attendees
RADNOR, PAÂ – Airgas, Inc. (NYSE: ARG) and its group of Advanced Fabrication specialists will exhibit at FABTECH 2013, North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, Monday, November 18 through Thursday, November 21 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
Airgas welding and fabrication experts will be on-hand to present featured demonstrations and information on improving welding efficiency based on Airgas' Unlocking the Hidden Cost of Welding program.
"Our Unlocking the Hidden Cost of Welding program has been very successful with metal fabrication customers in assessing the economics of their processes and focusing on where they can save time and money and improve product quality," said Jeff Cass, Airgas Vice President - Manufacturing and Metal Fabrication Markets. "We're excited to bring a snapshot of that training to our FABTECH exhibit, and look forward to showing attendees how they can better understand and control the hidden costs of welding."
The Airgas booth will also display induction heating systems and automated cutting and welding systems, available for rent, lease or purchase through Red-D-Arc Welderentals, an Airgas company. Attendees will be able to participate in demonstrations of a robotic welding cell as well as Airgas' AcuVend™ Weighstation and Tool Crib vending machines, which dispense a variety of welding and safety products and are part of the complete Airgas supply chain management solution.
Representatives will also be on-hand to discuss Red-D-Arc's new location in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. "This new location makes it easier for our customers to access Red-D-Arc's mechanized cutting sales, retrofit and service offerings," said Dale Ward, Director of Automation for Red-D-Arc Welderentals. "We are eager to share with FABTECH attendees this important step in bringing additional expertise to our network of mechanized oxy fuel and plasma systems service and support teams."
