Air Force Awards Camera Contract to RMA Electronics


Hingham, Massachusetts, September 15, 2011: The US Department of the Air Force has awarded a $109,000 contract to RMA Electronics, Inc. for Hitachi color and monochrome Super High Sensitivity, Low Light cameras. The Hitachi KP-DE500 (color) and KP-E500 (monochrome) Series cameras are based on an EMCCD (Electron Multiplier CCD) sensor technology jointly developed by Hitachi Kokusai and others.

The cameras are available to qualified end users and OEM's with a signed Wassenaar Agreement for Export Control and approval of the Government of Japan.
