Mr. Chuck Evanhoe Assumes Key Leadership Role

Warrendale, PA - The Board of Directors of AIM, the international association and recognized authority on bar code, RFID, and enterprise mobile computing, has announced the election of Mr. Chuck Evanhoe as vice chairman for the Board. The election fulfills the committee guideline for annual rotation of the chair position and election of vice chairs to rotate into the chair position for the following year.

Mr. Evanhoe, president, Evanhoe & Associates, Inc., has served on the AIM Board as the North America representative, and then was appointed to fill an unexpired term as a board member. He is well recognized within the bar code and RFID industries and is an active member of AIM's ADC1 TAG and REG standards committees. He served as chairman for the 2010 AIM Expo.

As a not-for-profit industry organization, AIM's mission is to expand the understanding, adoption and use of data collection technology by driving international standards, providing timely, unbiased and commercial-free news and educational resources. Board representatives are elected by the AIM membership for a two-year term, and the chairman and vice chairman positions are filled by Board vote.

The current board also includes executives from CDO Technologies, Datalogic Scanning, FEIG Electronics, Lowry Computer Products, Motorola, Savi Technology, TAGSYS and Zebra Technologies.
