Peter Guse to Keynote AIM Summit 2017

AIM, the trusted worldwide industry association for the automatic identification industry, providing unbiased information, educational resources and standards to providers and users of these technologies for nearly half a century, announced today that Peter Guse, Founding CEO of the Robert Bosch Start-up GmbH, will be the keynote speaker for AIM Summit 2017 on March 13th in Stuttgart, Germany.

Mr. Guse, a renowned international entrepreneur, joined Bosch in 1993 with a diploma in Electrical Engineering from Magdeburg University and later became the Logistics Manager of a Bosch plant in Germany. From 1999 to 2001 he experienced setting up a company from scratch leading manufacturing and logistics in a green field plant for gear boxes that is part of Magna Powertrain today. Since 2001, Mr. Guse held several positions in manufacturing engineering, logistics and product engineering at different Bosch divisions in and outside Germany. In 2009, he joined Bosch’s Research and Advance Engineering Sector as Innovation Manager where he also co-developed the concept of the Bosch Start-up Platform. As a founding CEO of Robert Bosch Start-up GmbH he is responsible for its internal and external platform functions since 2013.

His presentation, A Home for Radical Innovation at Bosch, kicks off AIM's annual meeting, which includes sessions devoted to innovation and technologies, educational opportunities and networking that brings together automatic identification and data capture executives, educators and end users from around the world. This year's event will be held at the Le Méridien Stuttgart Hotel in Stuttgart, Germany and features more than a dozen industry speakers in addition to the keynote by Mr. Guse. The2017 AIM Awards will also be presented during a special recognition luncheon at the Summit.

AIM selected Stuttgart for its annual Summit to include the opportunity to colocate with LogiMAT 2017, the 15th international trade fair for distribution, materials handling and information flow.
