AFC-Holcroft Ships 3 Heat Treating Cells to Russia

AFC-Holcroft has shipped 3 complete heat treating cells and companion equipment to an end user in Russia. This large order has been delivered and installed, with commissioning to follow.
Each of the 3 cells consists of a UBH 72-72-56 batch furnace system with top cool for carburizing, along with companion equipment including transfer car, scissors lift tables, load tables, 9000 cfh EZ endothermic generator, and ProcessMaster controls system. Additionally, each of the 3 cells contains an atmosphere type rotary hearth furnace with automatic load/unload arm, and wash-temper furnaces for press quench, hardening and temper operations. This equipment is complemented by another 9000 cfh EZ endothermic generator to service the rotary hearth equipment, as does a supply of alloy trays.
The customer, located in the United States, ordered the equipment crated shipped to their facility in Russia. The Russian facility produces bearing races, and the delivered equipment will be used for hardening and carburizing.
