Aeroblaze Receives Initial Nadcap Accreditation
Nadcap recognizes Aeroblaze for its commitment to continual improvement in aerospace quality
FORT WORTH, TX, August 30 – Aeroblaze Laboratory announced that it has received Nadcap accreditation for Non-Metallic Material Testing (NMMT) after successfully passing a Nadcap audit for flammability testing.
Nadcap is an industry-managed program developed by technical experts from Prime contractors, Suppliers, and Government representatives. Nadcap establishes stringent industry consensus standards that satisfy all the participants. It allows companies to replace their routine auditing of suppliers with a single approved audit through Nadcap. This provides more frequent audits for Primes and fewer audits for suppliers.
“Congratulations to Aeroblaze on successfully passing what may be the aerospace industry’s most stringent process capability assessment audit,” said Joe Pinto, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute. “Nadcap audit criteria are widely acknowledged to be hard to meet and companies like Aeroblaze, who succeed at doing so, rightfully deserve recognition.”
Receiving Nadcap accreditation is one step towards Aeroblaze’s goal of receiving their Airbus Lab Qualification. Aeroblaze hopes to begin the Airbus qualification process later this year.
