AdvancedMC Connectors Support High-Speed Interfaces Up To 12.5Gbps And The AdvancedTCA And MicroTCA Standard
Wake Forest, North Carolina - May 6, 2008- BTC is a stocking distributor for Yamaichi's Advanced Mezzanine Card (CN074 Series) connector. CN074 supports data transfer between AdvacedMC and AvancedTCA Carrier Board (blade) at 12.5Gbps and beyond, optimizing the performance of the AdvancedTCA system. The excellent electrical properties, and overall performance make these connectors ideal for Carrier grade needs for Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS). The Hot-Swappable feature allows the user to install or uninstall the cards directly from the front of AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA shelf without turning off power.
The CN074 connector is a "Z-pluggable" surface mount compression connector. The modular design allows more flexibility to meet the spec and create custom designs. CN074 is available in Type B, B+, AB and A+B+. The connector is rated for 200 mating cycles and operating temperatures of -40°C to 70°C. CN074 is PICMG AMC.0 Revision 1.0, GR-1217-CORE and RoHS Compliant.
