Adams Magnetic Products Names National Field Sales Representative
Elmhurst, Illinois -- Adams Magnetic Products Co. announces Bradd Erickson as its national field sales representative serving new customers' needs for flexible magnets, magnet assemblies and devices, and other magnetic materials. Reporting to Adams' General Manager Kerry Buntrock, he collaborates with the company's inside sales and engineering team to quickly respond with quick-turn samples, prototypes and high-volume requests.
"Magnets are key elements found in all kinds of products - from medical equipment and personal computers, to appliances and industrial equipment, to cabinets and windows, to sign holders and store displays," notes Erickson. "Adams has the expertise to help out at any stage of a product's development from concept through production."
Erickson's own experience in magnets and fasteners spans 16 years. He joins Adams from Arnold Magnetic Technologies in Rochester, N.Y. While there, he worked as Midwest Area Manager helping grow sales by 16.5% in one year. Concentrating on magnetic assemblies sales growth for U.S. market segments, he was recognized as the company's number one direct sales representative in both 2005 and 2006.
He previously achieved successful sales and customer programs working as regional sales manager of Aero-Space Fasteners and Electronics in Elmhurst, Ill.,; as sales engineer with EFC International in Bloomingdale, Ill.; and as senior account executive with Arden Fasteners in Addison, Ill. Throughout his career, Erickson has been consistently responsible for double-digit sales growth and top accounts.
Erickson has organized and led numerous training and product seminars, as well as continued his own professional development through industry events and educational programs. He graduated with bachelor's degrees in finance and marketing from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. Now living in Illinois, Erickson, his wife and their three children spend much of their summer with their extended family in Michigan enjoying water sports, tennis, golf and softball.
