ACW Completes Final Stage of Facility Expansion Now Bringing all Manufacturing Under One Roof for Streamlined Operations


The completion of a phase-two expansion, ACW brings all manufacturing under one roof resulting in new systems that will increase quality control and manufacturing capacity while remaining competitive with foreign products. The new facility will dramatically increase capabilities in weaving, custom molding, dye-range finishing bringing new products to the markets they serve.

WOONSOCKET, R.I.- ACW (American Cord and Webbing), a full-service, custom design manufacturer of highly engineered plastic and metal fasteners as well as the most advanced designs in elastic and non-elastic narrow textile webbing and cord products announced the completion of their facilities expansion for their custom design and manufacturing operations.

Over the last two years, ACW has worked diligently to bring all three manufacturing facilities under one roof. Now completed, the company has reached its goal to have a "lean manufacturing" facility to better serve their customers. ACW has experienced a significant percentage of growth in many of the markets they serve. As a result, they have undertaken the task of meeting customer demands by streamlining operations and expanding their facilities. Now, the additional space allows them to incorporate all aspects of their custom design and manufacturing operations to function under one roof.
