Acsis Opens Solution Center in Support Of Sap® Solutions and the Latest in Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain Technologies
State-of-the-Art Solution Center Demonstrates ROI via Real-World Scenarios
ATLANTA, April 23, 2007 - Acsis, Inc., a leader in connecting people, devices and supply chains with enterprise business systems, today announced the Acsis Solution Center in support of the SAP® Manufacturing solution and the SAP Supply Chain Management application. Based at Acsis' headquarters in Marlton, NJ, the center has been established for clients and partners to see, first hand, the latest developments in Acsis technology and most recent architecture and applications from SAP AG working together to create advanced solutions for manufacturing and the supply chain.
The Acsis Solution Center is a 6,500 square foot real-world facility dedicated to manufacturing and distribution excellence including solutions such as enterprise label management, serialized track and trace, shop floor automation and operations management. Visitors to this state-of-the-art facility see fully integrated, end-to-end processes from multiple perspectives - from suppliers through receiving, manufacturing as well as distribution. Business scenarios include procurement, automated receiving, just-in-time raw material inventory management, adaptive manufacturing, shipping and customer compliance.
To mimic real world environments, based on customer needs, the Acsis Solution Center includes the following facilities:

The Acsis Solution Center highlights the latest in end-to-end enterprise technologies including RFID, bar-coding, labeling, serialization, ERP integration, business process automation, device management, event management, reporting and visualization. Focused on pharmaceutical, consumer products and chemical industries, operations within the solution center can be tailored to the specific needs of customers and partners, in order to test deployment capabilities, prior to full production rollout.
The Acsis Solution Center for SAP solutions demonstrates the latest technologies from both Acsis and SAP for manufacturing and the supply chain.
