Acrilex Wins Best of Trade Show Award at LIGHTFAIR 2009
Award recognizes Acrilex's range of Acrylic Sheets on display at the show
Acrilex, Inc, a leading acrylic supplier, producer and distributor of high-end custom-colored acrylics, announces that the company has received a "Best of Trade Show Award" for the products and services it featured at the 20th annual LIGHTFAIR International Trade Show and Conference in New York City. Acrilex showcased a range of acrylic sheets ideal for lighting, point-of- purchase displays, store fixtures, novelty, accessory, furniture, architectural, and sign or lettering applications. These products included the Acriglas Minerals, Clear Impressions and Combinations series of acrylic sheets.

For a greener choice that looks as good as it performs, the Acriglas Minerals series of cast acrylic sheets utilizes up to 20 percent genuine Muscovite Mica Flakes. When encapsulated in an acrylic matrix, this naturally occurring mineral, considered a "scrap" material in its raw form, is transformed into a formable and stunning finished product ideal for lighting fixtures, cosmetic displays, store fixtures, and millwork.
Designed to reproduce the look of an upscale, patterned and tempered glass, the Acriglas Clear Impressions series of acrylic sheets has crystal clarity, unlike glass, and can be made with textures on one or both sides of the sheet. The aesthetic appeal, as well as the availability, toughness, and ease of fabrication, make the Clear Impressions series a practical and cost-effective alternative to glass products. And because acrylic has superb light-piping qualities, surface textures can be illuminated for dramatic effects with LED and fluorescent edge lighting in lighting fixtures.
