ACH Foam Technologies Opens New Nevada Plant
McCarran, NV-ACH Foam Technologies, the leading provider of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)
for construction, architectural, geotechnical, packaging, and OEM applications; announced today the opening of a new state-of-the-art plant in McCarran, Nevada. The plant is located at 775 Waltham Way, Suite 105. McCarran, NV 89434.
Regional Director of Manufacturing Operations, Andy Lineberry, was quoted as saying, "To my knowledge, this facility is the only EPS operation in the United States engineered and built from the ground up. The goal was to build a state-of-the-art operation which allows for minimal waste and maximum throughput. The building design, steam generation, support systems, molding equipment, and cutting and packaging were all designed with the most efficient layout and process flow possible. The finished facility reflects the latest in EPS manufacturing trends and technologies which, we believe, gives us an edge to continue to meet the future needs of our industry in customer service and the ever increasing demands for this product and its uses.
"The addition of shape molding makes this operation a full service EPS manufacturing facility and has allowed us to enter new markets while still maintaining our core business. Our square footage increased by roughly one-third and block molding capacity increased by more than 50%. This is a big competitive edge in our market and we expect to see major strides in our growth due to this concept."

molding facility we have installed new state of the art EPS shape molding equipment from the Hirsch Corporation. This equipment will allow us the opportunity to enter into the very competitive OEM, Packaging, and ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) markets in the western United States. This new equipment affords us the ability to supply product of the highest quality at very competitive prices," said Brandt.
