Accurate Thermal Systems Delivers CSA-certified Fluidized Temperature Bath to Fortune 500 Company

A Fortune500 chemical company contacted ATS about their need for a temperature source to heat a large coil reactor for a research and development project. Their standard operating temperature was 650C but they also required that it be capable of intermittent use up to 750 to 800C for other applications. We designed and delivered a CSA-certified custom fluidized temperature bath to the customer in just over 3 months. It also was provided with a custom lid solution for immersing and suspending their reactor coils with a vent port to capture and remove any convecting heat and media from the system. The customer will be able to realize the direct and fast heating of a Fluidized Bath over more conventional heat sources in a large 14” diameter by 27” deep working volume.
