Accumet and Laser Services to Merge Under the Name Accumet Engineering, Inc
Westford, MA – December 17, 2018 – Accumet Engineering Inc, located in Hudson, MA and Laser Services Inc, located in Westford, MA are pleased to announce they will be merging come January 2019. Both companies are considered pioneers in their industries. Accumet is well known for its skill in precision lapping and polishing services. Laser Services is a leader in custom laser cutting, drilling, marking and welding services. Together, they are a force - providing medical device, microelectronics, and military/aerospace OEMs a single source of supply for their complete materials processing and assembly services. Both companies are owned by Mr. Gregory Sexton, with Mr. Sexton acquiring Accumet Engineering in the fall of 2015. They have been operating independently since that time, but the time has come to merge the two business operations.

Laser Services is currently AS:9100:2015 registered. Accumet will be soon completing the registration under the new corporate name in early 2019.
The official merger will occur in January of 2019. At this time, both websites will join and become one at the domain name of www.accumet.com. All administrative functions such as purchase order acknowledgments, order entry, human resources, accounts payables, and accounts receivables, etc… will be managed by the corporate headquarters located in Westford, MA. We ask that all purchase orders, invoices, checks, etc.. are made out to Accumet, Inc. located at 123 Oak Hill Rd, Westford, MA 01886 come January 2019. For those of you whose contacts are primarily in Hudson, MA, please continue to contact them as you have been. You will be directed accordingly as to updated email addresses and phone numbers for your current contacts. The Hudson facility will remain open, as an operations facility.
