Abtex Corporation Fills Two Key Management Positions
DRESDEN, NY — Abtex Corp. has filled two key management positions with the hiring of a new Controller and a new Purchasing Agent.
Abtex’s new Controller, overseeing all financial operations and controls, is Lyell Adler of Waterloo, NY. He comes to Abtex from Mettler-Toledo High-Speed of Ithaca, where he held a similar position. Adler brings to the role more than two decades of financial experience in manufacturing. He holds a BS in accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a Certified Management Accountant and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Shirley Bendura of Penn Yan joins Abtex as Purchasing Agent, managing the procurement of all materials used in the manufacturing of Abtex’s market-leading deburring brushes. She is a former Abtex employee who spent the previous four years in a similar role with Z-Axis in Phelps, NY. She holds a degree from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA.
