Absolute Software and American Megatrends Announce Alliance to Broaden Computrace® Firmware Support


Agreement provides firmware support from AMI for Absolute's Computrace solutions based on the Unified EFI Specification

VANCOUVER, June 26 / / -- Absolute(R) Software Corporation (TSX: ABT), the leading provider of firmware-based, patented, Computrace(R) Computer Theft Recovery, Data Protection and Secure Asset Tracking(TM) solutions, together with American Megatrends Inc (AMI), developer of AMIBIOS(R) and Aptio(R) firmware, today announced an alliance to provide both 32- and 64-bit Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) support for Absolute Software's Computrace solutions.
