American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA) elected its 2007 officers and directors at the International Marina & Boatyard Conference held January 28-31, 2007. Charles Teran, owner of Fiberglass Specialties, will serve his first term as president of the 23-member Board. ABBRA Presents 2007 Board of Directors at Marina Conference



Warren, RI-The American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA) elected its
2007 officers and directors at the International Marina & Boatyard Conference held
January 28-31, 2007 in Tampa, Florida.

Charles Teran, owner of Fiberglass Specialties in Tahoe City, California, will serve his first term as president of the 23-member Board, replacing Jonathan Jones. Doug Domenie of Brewer Dauntless Shipyard was appointed vice-president and Jack Stumborg of
Atlantic Yacht Basin was appointed secretary/treasurer.

"As new president, I'm proud to be representing both the West Coast and a specialty
repair shop," say Charlie Teran. "I'm eager to engage our West Coast colleagues and
usher in a new generation of ABBRA members."

New board members are: Frank Herhold of the Marine Industries Association of Southern
Florida in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Steve Smith of Awlgrip in Waukegan, Illinois.
Returning board members include: Nancy Bodick, Milford Boat Works; James Bronstien,
Broward Marine; John Hall, Frank Hall Boatyard; Neal Harrell, Brooks Marine Group; J.
Jopie Helsen, Sailor's Wharf Yacht Yard; Jonathan Jones, Haven Harbour Marina; Pam
Lendzion, MarineTech Management Company; David King, Townsend Bay Marine; Bill
Munger, Conanicut Marine Service; Peter Sabo, Camachee Yacht Yard; Andrew
Saunders, Saunders Yacht Works; Edwin Sherman; John Underwood, Lockwood Marine;
and Garry Williams, Osprey Marine Composites.

The American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA) represents over 250
boatyards, repairers, and associated industries in the United States and abroad. As the hub of the boatyard/service-facility network, ABBRA provides its members with the
opportunity to exchange information and coordinate efforts to handle matters of mutual
concern through open discussions, quarterly newsletters, an annual conference, and
training seminars throughout the United States.
