AAMA's Walker to Moderate Woodworking Panel
SCHAUMBURG, Ill -- Rich Walker, President and CEO of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), will be the moderator of a panel entitled, "Window and Door Trends and Opportunities," during the Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) Fair ("AWFS®Vegas") to be held July 18 to 21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The window and door seminar is sponsored by Door & Window Manufacturer magazine and is slated for Wednesday, July 18, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Those on the panel, in addition to Walker, include Val Brushaber, of Hurd Windows and Doors, and Scott Shober, of Ducker Worldwide. "AWFS®Vegas represents the largest exhibition of woodworking hardware and machinery, board and panel products, upholstery material, wood components, supplies, services and new technologies in North America," according to AWFS officials. "In addition, the AWFS Fair provides unmatched networking opportunities and the finest professional educational conference in the industry."
AWFS officials also expect to draw several thousand attendees from the window and door sector, as well as a large contingent from the architectural millwork industry.
