DETROIT, April 3, 2017 - American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) will display the latest developments in driveline technologies at WCX17: SAE World Congress Experience being held April 4-6 at the Cobo Center located in Detroit.

AAM – located in booth 2405 – will showcase the following advanced driveline technologies:

QUANTUM™ driveline technology which is scalable across a wide range of vehicle segments and provides substantial advantages regardless of vehicle size including reduced mass, increased power density, improved noise vibration and harshness (NVH) and efficiency gains in a more compact system package.

EcoTrac® Disconnecting All-Wheel Drive (AWD) which gives drivers the performance of an AWD vehicle with the fuel economy of a front wheel drive vehicle by automatically and seamlessly using only the front wheels when AWD is not required.

e-AAM™ Hybrid and Electric Driveline Systems which deliver increased fuel efficiency, decreased tail pipe emissions and improvements in dynamic safety, acceleration and eAWD traction.

The company will debut its virtual reality (VR) product experience at WCX17. Wearing VR glasses, showgoers will visit AAM's Advanced Engineering garage and Wintertest events, where they will learn more about QUANTUM, EcoTrac and e-AAM.
