WASHINGTON, – Airlines for America (A4A), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, issued the following statement on the sudden passing of former U.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar (D-MN), who served 18 terms in Congress:



“As a longtime chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Jim Oberstar understood well the value of air travel to jobs, the economy and connecting people and goods across the country and the world,” said A4A President and CEO Nicholas E.
