Third party logistics provider partners with RedPrairie for improved visibility, accuracy and productivity
Waukesha, WI - RedPrairie Corporation, a global leader in supply chain technology solutions that enable business process transformation, announced today that Orefield Cold Storage (OCS Logistics), a leading third party logistics provider, will implement RedPrairie DLx® Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) and DLx® Labor for Workforce Performance Management to optimize distribution operations.
OCS Logistics provides climate controlled and dry product handling services with12.8 million cubic feet of storage area. The company plans to open a 100,000-square-foot expansion of their Allentown, Pennsylvania distribution center by the end of the year. The company needed more advanced warehouse management capabilities to meet customer demands, provide visibility into inventory and control costs.
