Newark InOne Names New President
CHICAGO, DECEMBER 8, 2007--Newark InOne, a subsidiary of global distributor Premier Farnell plc and the leading small-quantity distributor of electronic components, test equipment and RoHS solutions in the Americas, today announced that DeWight Wallace will succeed Paul Tallentire as president, effective March 1, 2007. Mr Tallentire will return to the UK to become president of Newark InOne's sister distributor, Farnell InOne.
Until March 1, Mr. Wallace will continue in his role as General Manager of MCM Electronics,another Premier Farnell business based in Centerville, Ohio. Prior to MCM, Mr. Wallace served in a number of senior engineering, management and consulting roles for Texas Instruments, General Motors and General Electric. As VP, Marketing for GE Capital, he was part of the team that won the GE Chairman's Award for earnings turnaround.

Mr. Wallace earned his MBA from Ohio State University and holds undergraduate degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering.
