John Goldsberry Joins TPI Composites as CFO


Seasoned Executive Brings Years of Experience to Growing Company

Scottsdale, Ariz. (5 a.m. July 23, 2008) - TPI Composites Inc. is pleased to announce that John Goldsberry has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer. Goldsberry comes to TPI with more than 15 years of CFO experience with both public and private companies, as well as 12 years of investment banking experience.

Most recently, Goldsberry served as CFO and Senior Vice President, Information Technology at Gateway, Inc., a $4 billion computer company acquired by Acer in late 2007. He joined Gateway in 2004 and held other leadership positions overseeing operations, customer care, information technology and business development. He brings a wealth of experience in general corporate finance, systems implementation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and investment banking.

"John's experience leading financial and operations teams inside large and growth companies will be invaluable as TPI continues on its path to becoming a larger, multi-national organization," said Chief Executive Officer Steve Lockard. "We are delighted to have John on the TPI team."

Prior to Gateway, Goldsberry served as CFO of a number of public and private companies including Truespectra, Inc., Calibre, Inc., Quality Semiconductor, Inc., DSP Group, Inc. and The Good Guys, Inc. He previously worked for Salomon Brothers, Inc. and Morgan Stanley, Inc. in a number of corporate finance positions.

Goldsberry serves on the board of directors and is chairman of the audit committee of Sanmina-SCI Corporation, a leading electronics manufacturing services company.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University, where he also served as Instructor of Finance. He is married with two grown daughters.
